Why do you use Wordpress?

Wordpress is my preferred CMS (content management system) for a few reasons:

  1. It can do anything you want it to.
  2. When your business is ready to grow, it can grow with you.
  3. You can truly own your website and its content, while other platforms (like Squarespace and Shopify) hold the content of your site.
  4. It can cost as much or as little as you’d like, depending on where it’s being hosted, and what you’re doing with it.

If my site is on another CMS like Squarespace or Shopify, can you help me?

I prefer to work in Wordpress, but can help you troubleshoot or edit other types of websites if needed.

Can you fix my website?

It really depends on what’s going on with the site. Your best bet is to book a website review.  I can take a look at your site and see what’s going on and give you an idea of what can be done. You can find more information on that here. If your site has been hacked, I’m not the best person for fixing that, but I can refer you to someone who is.

Do you do websites in a day ?

No, I don’t.  While I have a lot of respect for people who can produce so much in such a short time, I don’t work that way.  My process takes time and input, and I really believe that things just need to “sit” for a bit before you consider them finished. I’m a big fan of walking away from something for a bit, and then coming back to it later with fresh eyes.  So, for me, doing a website in a day doesn’t really work.

Can't I just make a website myself ?

Of course you can, but I don’t recommend it. As a business owner, you’re already wearing so many hats.  You don’t need to learn how to build and maintain a website yourself. Your to-do list is long enough already.  Hiring someone to build and maintain your website for you gives you time back that you desperately need to spend on serving your customers.
